Out of the Blue
It’s been a crummy day but I’m over it because I just got the sweetest email from a former 6th grader.
“Hi, Mrs.B!!!!!!!!! I miss you so much! I have been enjoying my Summer. It has been really HOT though. I have been playing Soccer for most of the Summer. I have been seeing the olympics too. They are spectacular. All the olympians are very well prepared and very well trained. I loved seeing the Gymnastics. I can’t believe USA beat Russia. I was really excited. How has your Summer been?”
I mean, c’mon! I love this kiddo and I love my job. THIS is why I teach and THIS is why I’m excited to go back to school.
