As the lecture and animation demonstrates, people are motivated by purposeful (authentic) tasks and the freedom to be self-directed.
I try to provide choice (via love & logic) and give assignments/tasks relevance and purpose.
Do you incorporate these beliefs into your classroom? If so, how? Ultimately, what do you find helpful when trying to motivate learners?
