Full Lockdown
10 minutes into the day and we went on full lockdown. That means:
- Sweep the halls for students and bring anyone into your class
- Lock your door
- Let no one else in
- Turn off your lights
- Close and lock windows
- Move students out of view from the door (small window on door)
- Keep voices down or completely silent
- Keep everyone calm
- Report any missing students to the main office
- Don’t panic
- No one in the building, no one out of the building
This is not a drill.
We sat in the dark and whispered funny stories (to lighten the mood) for an hour. At 8:45 our AP made the announcement that we’re now on modified lockdown (no one in or out of the building) but are now free to conduct class and move around within the school.
