Do You Think it’s Fair pt. II
Thank you to everyone who has responded! I received a lot of insightful advice and helpful comments. Ultimately, I have chosen to give student the option to verbally share their thoughts or write them down during discussions. If a student writes down their thoughts they’ll need to turn that piece of paper in at the end of class for participation points. As the school-year progresses I will ask the less talkative students to try and share out once a week and if that goes well possibly more. Many thanks!
